Al-Sabah was founded in Iraq in 1959 by Haj Sabah (Abu Khalid) as a company dedicated to making ice cream. The next generation carried that mission forward, helping establish ice-cream factories in Iraq and Jordan from 1980 onwards, until it became one of the first companies to take part in building the ice-cream industry across the Middle East.
Holding to the craft handed down since 1959, the family founded Al-Sabah Golden under the Bellato brand in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2021. Built on generations of experience and staffed by a highly skilled team, it is a factory dedicated to ice cream: modern automated production lines with high capacity, serving both the local market and export.
